Northwest Calgary’s only lake community was opened in 1992 and is the crown jewel of the area. The 10 acre lake and 3 acre park are the social and family hub of this great community. The Arbour Lake Community Centre is operated by the Arbor Lake Residents Assocation (ALRA). They offer a wide variety of 4 season activities to community members such as swimming, fishing and boating in the summer and skating, hockey and ice fishing in the winter.
The nearby Crowfoot Power Centre has all the shopping, restaurants and entertainment needs covered for area residents. Crowchild Trail, the Ring Road and the NW expansion of the LRT give area residents quick access to Downtown, Canada Olympic Park and Highway 2 North to Edmonton.
